Room 4 suffers from significant street noise starting at 6:00 a.m. The sound of traffic and slamming doors can be disruptive, taking away from the otherwise charming atmosphere. The 8 a.m. breakfast start time may force early risers to forfeit the full experience unless they request a packed meal ahead of time.

The Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, which was frustrating when I needed to plan my daily outings online.

I stayed for 4 nights in a Double or Twin Room while exploring the local attractions, like the nearby Church of Saint Sebastian and the Mercado da Graca. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast every morning, featuring homemade cakes and the option for a packed meal when I had an early flight. The charming architecture and comfortable common areas provided a lovely atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

charming atmosphere but parking was a hassle
The historic building captivated me from the moment I arrived. its beautiful architecture added to the charm of the stay. Every morning, breakfast offered a delightful selection of fresh, tasty options, served in a bright and welcoming room. The staff were both helpful and attentive, making me feel right at home during my visit.
The limited parking options a couple of streets away were quite inconvenient.

The room was super spacious and had two cute balconies, which we loved! It was nicely decorated with a charming mix of old and modern touches. The architecture of the entire place, including common areas, really stood out. Breakfast was served in a cozy room and was delicious. We had a late arrival but got a lovely snack on top of it, which was a nice surprise. Only downside? The price was a bit above what I initially planned but totally worth it!
